Reflecting on 2021

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing: it makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.”
Voltaire

This is the last journal from us for 2021, so first a big thank you for staying the course.

At the end of the annual journey around our star - we like to take some time out and reflect on everything that’s happened over the last 12 months. What did we get right? What did we miss? And, of course, what can we improve?

While the pandemic continued to rage, we kept our heads down, crafting built meaning and building emotion. Working remotely with our clients and, more recently traveling across the UK visiting potential sites and on-going projects.

This year has felt like a transition point in the studio with an incredible team - our production of architecture has been intense, and we would like to think ‘immense’.

2021 has seen us expand further internationally, with new clients from countries such as Portugal, Switzerland and Ireland taking an interest in our architecture.

We are immensely grateful for the authentic relationships we have forged and of course the likes and the follows help along the way.

Whether you achieve your goals or not, it’s good to take a moment - reflect back and as writer Eckhart Tolle wisely asserted “acknowledging the good that you already have is the foundation for all abundance.”

Stay safe.
