Dino Shows Up For Ferrari

Many car aficionados on our social media feeds noticed that some Ferrari heritage was on full display during our recent photoshoot in Oxford, celebrating the completion of our Quatrefoil House. Unknown to many - Dino was the marque of the rear-drive sports car produced by Ferrari from 1957-1976.

The name Dino honours the Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari’s late son, Alfredo Dino, credited with designing the V6 engine used in the car.

We loved how the Dino script that defines the badge was based on Alfredo’s signature, not to mention the gorgeous look and sound of this remarkable machine. Its innovative and effortless design feels a good fit outside a home that celebrates authentic materials and careful detailing in brick and bronze.

This synergy of machine and architecture reminded us of a quote by Dieter Rams, german master of product design...

“My heart belongs to the details. I always found them to be more important than the big picture. Nothing works without details. They are everything, the baseline of quality”

- Dieter Rams
