A Home For An Art Collector

“Poetry is an awareness of the world, a particular way of relating to reality.”
― Andrei Tarkovsky

Not far from Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, North Oxfordshire lies a secluded haven of tall grasses, young saplings, and majestic oaks. Here, in this tranquil landscape, we've been entrusted by an art collector to design a home that floats above a sea of wild grasses.

The home is carefully positioned among the existing trees, creating a series of outdoor rooms that feel both intimate and expansive.

Artworks hang along suspended pathways. These internal walkways connect different spaces of this residence and reach out into the natural landscape.

By deconstructing the typical residential programme, we've crafted a series of liminal spaces that seamlessly blend our clients internal existence with the natural world.
